The Climate Change Bill is being reintroduced to the Parliament by Zali Steggal MP on 18 October 2021. The revisions reflect feedback from the inquiry process and introduce a new, short-term emissions reduction target of 60% by 2030 vs 2005 levels. It's an opportunity to adopt a meaningful climate commitment ahead of the COP26 summit which starts on October 31st 2021. Voices of Wentworth wrote to our local MP, Mr. Sharma to ask him to support the Climate Change Bills.
